This is one of those fudge recipes that made my mother ever since I can remember. If I was lucky and none of my other brothers were around, let me eat the left over pieces of chocolate in the bowl. We always used to say "lick the bowl" in my house. Always one of the best parts are, to cook with her mother. I have a lot of dark chocolate and no one has ever fudge recipe that my mother always compared. I do not know if it's because my mother did or why it is agood fudge recipe. Maybe a little 'of both. I hope you get to share it with someone special.

Melting

2 tablespoons butter
2 / 3 cup evaporated milk
1 2 / 3 cups sugar
1 / 2 teaspoon salt
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 1 / 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
1 / 2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Combine butter, milk, sugar and salt in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil. Cook 4 or 5 minutes, stirring constantly. (Time starts when the mixturebegins to bubble around the edges of the pan to take.) heat. Stir in marshmallows, chocolate, vanilla and nuts. Shake vigorously for 1 minute. Pour into a buttered 8-inch square pan. Cool in refrigerator. Cut into squares.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge

1 cup peanut butter chips
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons softButter
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Place slides in an 8-inch square pan. In a microwave bowl, place chips in peanut butter 2 / 3 cup sweetened condensed milk, butter and everything. Add 1 / 2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and pour the mixture over the layer of peanut butter. Refrigerator and cut into squares when firms.
